INSTRUCTOR

Ivy Yew recently won The International Invitational 1st place prize as a foreign competitor at the Wushu Competition in ShanXi Province, China for her demonstration of the 24 movement Tai Chi Form. Her Tai Chi studies are direct family training under Professor Li Shixin of Beijing University, China.

She brings to her teaching of Tai Chi a depth of understanding of fitness and exercise. Ivy's background previous to Tai Chi is in international gymnastics. Ivy represented Hong Kong in 1982 at the Asian Games and the Commonwealth Games after 12 years of gymnastics training. Since then she has been a coaching director for a major sports coaching company in Hong Kong and taught
through the English School Foundation and other major international schools such as the Hong Kong International School and the French International School.

In 2002 Ivy Yew and David Schneider formed and created the company Waving Clouds Productions Ltd., a Hong Kong based company that promotes over 30 of China's top Martial Artists globally for Martial Arts educational seminars and multimedia projects.

Ivy is currently a Tai Chi Instructor in Hong Kong and is a personal trainer of fitness with wide experience in exercise from her extensive international gymnastics career.
