INSTRUCTOR

Helen Shwe Hadani received a Ph.D. in developmental psychology from Stanford University and has worked as a researcher for such toy companies as LEGO and Hasbro as a research director.

Dr. Hadani founded Xiao Hai, an organization that creates health, education, and training programs based on the traditional martial art of Tai Chi, in Hong Kong in 2001. She developed the Xiao Hai method, a Tai Chi program for children, under the guidance of her instructor David Schneider.

Currently, she is continuing to develop Xiao Hai programs in Hong Kong with plans to share the program with several cities in the United States in 2002. Xiao Hai was recently featured in an article in T’ai Chi Magazine (February 2002).
